TGI BACKGROUND
**************
Founded by Alan Stillman in 1965, TGI Fridays (which stands for thank god it's friday) was a chain of mixed sex pubs. Stillman lived in an area with a high population of women, but there were no places to be around them, hence opening the cocktail bar. It was aimed at young adults, men and women and was a social and trendy place to meet.

American theme restaurant TGI Fridays are located all across the UK and USA, 920 restaurants in 61 countries. The menu is mostly American food favourites including chicken wraps, barbecue ribs, chicken wings, burgers, nachos, steaks and some lovely starters loaded potato skins and sharing bread a favourite.
TGI, the fun friendly restaurant does double up as a cocktail bar serving a range of delicious cocktails and alcoholic drinks though also catering for families as well with soft drinks and creamy milkshakes.
A general main meal costs between £10-15
A general starter costs between £3-5
A dessert costs about £4.50-6
MY EXPERIENCES
***************
Although I have had one bad experience at TGI Fridays, they made up for it enormously by sending me a £20 off my next meal and free dessert voucher.
I am a loyal customer and have always had great service (bar one time when the wait was crazy) however as I said they made up for it wonderfully.
THEIR SERVICES
************
I recently went on Halloween to the Bluewater branch and had the most fantastic dining experience. All the staff were professionally halloweened up, and the atmosphere was amazing.
Also they do a birthday offer in which you and up to 8 friends get a free dessert, though the birthday person has to endure the BIRTHDAY SONG, where you are stood up on a chair in the middle of the restaurant, with a balloon hat on, holding your dessert with a candle in it whilst all the staff and other customers sign happy birthday to you. A nice touch, though traumatising.
Our waiter couldn't have done more to help us, and was a polite young man.
And as all the TGI I have tried, the staff are always more than willing to help
Recommendations on food
*******************
The steak is always delicious, I've never had a less than perfect steak from TGI.
Add the surf and turf prawns, they are to die for; marinated in a cajun glaze to give them flavour and grilled.
Jack Daniels Sauce is the nicest sauce I have ever tried, (even tried getting the secret recipe out of the chef) but no shop bought sauce tastes even similar.
For a perfect dining experience. GO TO TGI FRIDAYS!
Summary: For a treat this place is the best.
