I have always loved Thai food and then I went to Thailand. Since trying REAL thai food, I have struggled to find anything that remotely lives up to the standards of the food I ate in Thailand and this is throughly disappointing.

Not so long ago though, I went to a Thai Egde Restuarant in Cardiff. I wasn't expecting much as like I said, I haven't tasted anything that tastes like real Thaifood for ages. I was actually very suprised by Thai Edge.

I had a Thai red curry and it was absolutely delicious. It tasted authentic which I was very pleased about. Sometimes, restuarants tone down the chillifor us Brits but this was hot and spicy and very tasty. To start we had a shared sea food platter which was also very tasty and authentic. I am very pleased to find a Thai restuarant that sells food that actually tastes Thai.

The restuarant itself (in Cardiff anyway) is nicely laid out with simple round tables and staff are dressed in Thai clothing. A bowl of prawn crackers are bought to your table on arrival.

The prices are reasonable too. About £10 a main dish.

Summary: Try it if you like real Thai food
