Newest Review: ... avoiding this place and going to one of Kilburn's other restaurants. However, the food is exquisite. Having lived in Thailand I have got a sense of what is good Thai food and what isn't and this cheeky little cafe-style restaurant has got it perfect. I have eaten there on several occasions, sampling: the pad thai, the Tom Yung Prawn Soup, Several appetisers, Several Chicken and Noodle dishes, Green Curry and Masaman Curry. All tasted as if I was scoffing my face in Koh Pangnan and, what's more, didn't cost too much more than there! On the Kilburn High Road, just down from where Willesden Lane intersects, sits a small cafteria style restaurant called 'Spicy Basil.' Yes, the name is appauling, the decor is pretty bland - the wall feature is a television split between 4 CCTV views, so you can watch yourself whilst you eat! - and thus you could be forgiven for for avoiding this place and going to one of Kilburn's other restaurants.
