Newest Review: ... *** THE MENU The menu offered a good selection of starters and soups, and all the usual Thai dishes (e.g Massaman curry, green and red curry, Pad Thai, Tom Yum Goong) as well as a few interesting sounding ones such as duck breast in a tamarind sauce with crispy seaweed or stir fried chicken with garlic, ginger and lychees. We never got as far as the desserts menu (oh why oh why do I always eat too much to manage a dessert??) but I saw some other diners tucking into yummy looking ice-cream creations, so I'm sure we would have been more than happy had we chosen to indulge. *** THE FOOD We ordered a special seafood soup for two to s... more |

Tucked away in a side street in the heart of London's soho is a lovely little Thai restaurant called, simply enough, 'Soho Thai Restaurant'. Actually, it SEEMS quite little, but once you're inside it seems to stretch back for quite a way, and there at least twenty tables tucked inside. I stumbled upon Soho Thai after a visit to the Soho Theatre in Dean Street to see a new fantastic new play, 'Meeting Myself Coming Back' which, incidentally, is definitely worth seeing, but I'll save that for another op. *** FIRST IMPRESSIONS The exterior of the restaurant is painted a pleasant, calming green colour and the menu is ...
