I was invited to the 39 steps for our office christmas party and on hearing it achieved the accolade of Cheshire restaurant of the year 07-08 was very excited at the prospect of dining there. Our company Christmas lunch was held at the 39-Steps, and on reflection this is a mistake that will not be repeated.
The Christmas Turkey was completely raw in the middle on 3 of the meals and burnt when re-heated. One of the desserts was also burnt.

I would not return to this restaurant especially as the owner seems to be uninterested regarding the complaints about the quality of the food.
