The Blackwell Ox. Something of a legendary eating venue amongst those in the know. If you haven't been before I can assure you that after having been, you will certainly return. I love classic English pubs. The problem I have is that you generally have to travel a fair distance to find one that provides food, drink and atmosphere to a good standard. I have happened upon many nice looking pubs only to be left empty by the experience, coming away disappointed and fearing the death of that very British idea, a classic English or British pub.
