      Very helpful

      Lovely restaraunt

The Blue Rooms is the best English restaraunt ive ever been too.

Great Homemade English Food made with fresh ingredients, none of this slap dash microwaving or defrosting foods. All meals are freshly made to order. The chef is well known for his many types of homemade pies. My favourite is the steak and stilton. They also cook different hot sizzle skillets which are lovely and he cooks a good steak. There are plenty of other dishes, these are just the ones i have had. The starters are lovely, my favourite is the garlic mushrooms (not battered, as you wont find anything battered at this good English restaraunt). There is a choice of sides such as homemade chips, jacket potato or a selection of different mashes, such as cheesey mash and onion mash. Also nice chunky veg or salad......got anyones mouth watering? The chef and other staff are so passionate about their food and it really shows.

The price is very good. A three course meal for two with two drinks each cost us just over £50 which is certainly not bad!!!

What makes it a perfectly place to eat is the fact that it is family run and the family are very friendly. They really do make you feel welcome and relaxed. This is not just because they feel they have to but because this is the way they are. They cannot do enough for you, but at the same time they are not smothering as i have had with some restaraunts. They want you to enjoy your meal peacefully. Yes the Blue Rooms has the perfect balance. The atmosphere is so walm and inviting. It is a lovely place just to go and sit at the bar with a drink too. They have a nice selection of wines.

A nice night to go on if you like to eat while listening to music is when they have live music nights. They are usually a sell out so you have to book. The Blue Rooms is a great place for special occassions too.

I have never got bored of the Blue Rooms, it is always a good one to go back to. I cannot say a bad word about it. So if you live around the area of Stone in Staffordshire or around the area anytime. Book a table!
