Finding a decent fish and chip shop can sometimes be like trying to find a needle in a haystack. Sometimes you can pay well over the odds for the turgid scrag-ends of chips, followed by battered batter, with a little bit of fish somewhere lurking inside. That is why sometimes you just need to chance it and go for broke, which is what we did on our recent trip to Hereford.
