      What is it?
The Kilton Inn is a Chef and Brewer pub. It is a pub and restaurant which offers real ale, food, areas for functions and conferences and as a venue for entertainment. It has an adjoining Premier Inn for overnight guests. Children and dogs are also welcome.

It is situated by the A50 main road from Knutsford to Warrington, only a 5 minute drive from the M6 Junction 19. In my opinion, it is very picturesque, set in a small village called Hoo Green, it is surrounded by greenery and fields. It is around 10 minutes from Tatton Park so would be a lovely place to stop at en route!

      Layout, facilities and access
The Kilton Inn has two large car parks which includes four disabled car parking spots near the entrance, and room for coaches. There are three entrances to the pub. Once inside the Kilton Inn has lots of nooks and crannies, in the main bar area there are tables to sit at which are all on one level. There are also rooms where you need to go up two or three stairs to access, but these are predominantly the function rooms. There are open fires, candle lit tables and traditional stone floors. I found it to have a lovely atmosphere. As I was there at a christening funtion, our room was carpeted, big bay windows and high ceilings. I had a very pleasant time there.

The Kilton Inn has disabled access and toilet, which also doubles up as the Baby Change Room. This was fully equipped with change station and mat, however it wasn't very well lit in this room. The main toilets where very clean, spacious and functional. Access to these where down a wide corridor off the main bar area, and off the main function room

There is an ATM machine and a large paved beer garden.

      Food and Drink
The food can be chosen off the extensive menu, or found on the huge chalk special boards which dotted around the pub. There is something for everyone, fish, meat, and vegetarian options. They offer a soup and a sandwich deal and on a Sunday a choice of a 3-meat Sunday Roast. Prices are very reasonable, and the portions are in my opinion, very generous. Bar snacks and crisps/nuts are also available.

They offer changing guest ales, drinks on draught Becks Vier, Fosters, Kronenbourg, Stella, John Smiths Smooth, Guinness and Strongbow Cider. They have a large wine menu and tea and coffee. They also have children's juices such as Fruits Shoots in 3 different flavors.
I didn't have a full meal there as was at a function, however two of us shared a bowl of chips, these cost £2.95 for large chips, and when the bowl arrived it was HUGE, and this ended up feeding four of us! I was drinking wine which was around £11.95 for the cheapest bottle, this is what you would expect to find in most pubs so the price was fine.

      Live Entertainment and Special Events
The Kilton Inn hosts live entertainment on the last Friday of the month, from Jazz to swing, soul and country acts. On these nights the bar is extended untill midnight. Throughout the year they have special events such Charity Quiz Nights, Psychic Evenings, Family Fun Days and Theme Nights.

Selected Menu available Monday - Friday:
      2 courses £9.00. 3 courses £11.00.

      Available Monday - Friday 12 noon - 6pm - £3.95.
With a choice of usually 3 roasts, or all three, plus all the trimmings and fresh vegetables from £6.95.

I find these prices to be very reasonable, and to be in such a lovely atmosphere is a bonus.

In my opinion, the staff are very helpful and eager to please. Any questions I asked where greeted with a smile and an immediate answer. They where knowledgeable about the menu and the drinks behind the bar. It was a little cold when we arrived but after a friend spoke to a staff member they turned the heating up straight away.

I had a lovely experience of this pub, if I lived nearer (I live over 1 hour away) this would definitely be the place I would go to when dining/drinking out. There was a lovely atmosphere, the surroundings are beautiful, tasty food and reasonable prices. Because of the amount of steps, I wasn't able to let my son crawl around as I would in other places and was difficult to move pram in and out, all in all, thats the only negative I have to say about The Kilton Inn!
