Tiger lils is brilliant. Situated on the lower end of the kings road in Chelsea it's a little gem hidden away far from prying eyes - which is perfect or you would never be able to book a table (though this has changed a bit now with a new branch opened in Bayswater) The basic premise for Tiger Lils is an eat as much as you can buffet with a difference. There is no menu. Everyone has the same thing. You get your plate and walk over to a counter stacked with raw vegetables and meats. You help yourself to what ever you want and wait patiently in line. This little haunt is a great place to go for a quick bite to eat... the value for money is fantastic if you are hungry, because you select your own ingredients from a buffet, it is then cooked right in front of you and you can have as many helpings as you like... But my one piece of advice is that if you don't like hot food, you must be careful with who is in front of you in the queue because although they clean the pan b4 cooking your food, often strong tastes will remain and add flavour to your dish, this is also true for fishy foods which will often make your meat dish taste funny!
