Advantages: clean friendly carvery quick service good food

Disadvantages: veg can get cold and stale

we are regular visitors to the toby carvery in endon and find it offers very good service good food at reasonable prices. There are 3 choices of meats,a fish dish and vegatarian choice and of course the usuall selection of veg and potatoes.Slightly limited choice for children although it is a carvery they could maybe extend the childrens menu.We are usually seated straight away even when busy and ther is no need to book in advance. However on my last couple of visits the standards seem to have slipped the service is not so spot on and the food was both cold and uncooked the beef in particular.Although my veggi dish arrived on the carvery almost immediately I then had a 15 min wait for my gravy by which time my meal was cold. However I hope this is only a temporary blip and normal service will soon be resumed as normally tjis carvery offers good value food excellent service at a reasonable price

Summary: good food clean and child friendly
