Advantages: Cheap Meal

Love Toby Carvery. Particularly one at Harlow, Essex and Borehamwood, Herts but they can range in quality. One at Enfield, Middx is very hit and miss and have had some dodgy meats and vegs too. Try to avoid that one now but seems to be alright at weekends when more busy. The evening extra choices are a very good idea and really good value. However did have a paella dish one evening as an alternative but no-one seemed to prefer that and I am sure most got thrown away. Perhaps not the wisest thing to serve next to a roast diner and all the trimmings. Much better kept to a different sort of restaurant but a bold try!! I can never work out how they can anticipate how much they will need - meatwise that is. What happens to what is left? Bet members of staff put weight on. Anyway love Toby and even though Crown Carveries are cheaper £3.50 we don't have one near enough to be used often. Must say Wickford, Essex has a good one though.
