If you live in Hatfield, and you fancy some chips, then there are two main chip shops for you to choose from, and opinion seems to be divided over which one is better. My own personal favourite is Skippers, in the town centre. However, the rival is the Trawlerman, which can be found next to Simmons the Bakers on St Albans Road East, a mere stones throw from the train station. At first glance, the Trawlerman is bright and clean and pleasantly decorated in blue and white. The plate glass windows are washed frequently, and are usually spotless.
