Newest Review: ... obviously well cared for. The staff are friendly, and their white uniforms are always neat and clean. I?ve never seen ... more  ... anybody working in the Trawlerman wearing anything other than pristine clothes. The floor is tiled, and if you happen to have gone to the chip shop on a wet day, they?ll have ripped up cardboard boxes to put down to prevent slips. OK, so this doesn?t look particularly attractive, but I can forgive them for that if it means I won?t land on my bottom after sliding across wet, slippery tiles! If you live in Hatfield, and you fancy some chips, then there are two main chip shops for you to choose from, and opinion seems to be divided over which one is better. My own personal favourite is Skippers, in the town centre. However, the rival is the Trawlerman, which can be found next to Simmons the Bakers on St Albans Road East, a mere stones throw from the train station. At first glance, the Trawlerman is bright and clean and pleasantly decorated in blue and white. The plate glass windows are washed frequently, and are usually spotless.
