Eastern Noodle Bar, York Road

This resturant, which is situated on york road(i know, i know), is a misunderstood gem.
Mistuderstood, because it is always empty, which cause people to think twice, but in fact they are missing a treat.

You are greeted by a friendly woman, and a miserable 'you rang me lord' type chinese man. The visit is just worth while for the pure entertainment he gives(he really is a misery). Well getting back to the point. The price is £8.90 per person from 5-11pm most nights. This price is eat as much as you like.

You get a choice of four starters, then if you want to try four more, you can. Then it is the same with the main course, choose four dishes, then if you want try some more, you can. The food is out of this world, we are experts on chinese(most takeaways and restaurants have been tried), and all i can say is 'mouthwatering, scrummy, oh god i want some now'...... . The food is served to your table, and kept warm in the middle on hotplates. The food on offer in this eat as much as you like menu is excellent. They cater vary well for vegitarians, offering alot of seafood dishes.

Starters vary between crispy seaweed, to soups, pankake rolls, seasame prawn toast, pork chop sliced chinese style. Main course varies from sweet and sour to duck, crispy chilli chicken is a must, and the mussell dish is out of this world. Accomanying your main course is a choice of special fried rice, special chow mein, or just good old egg freid rice, as well as others. You can order as many times as you wish, as long as you have room in your stomach's!!!

It is intimate enough to share, and casual enough to share with more than two. Drinks are cheap too, which is a bonus. We went out the other night four people, twelve cokes £47.60, not bad eh???

So for a good value, mouthwatering meal i recommend this restaurant to all.
