The fishbar is due to close this month ( August ) for good. Try it while you can. An Islington institution, as generations of N1ers and tourists muddle in at the check table clothed fab fish café. It's a straight chippie down one side, but to do it justice requires a seat. Great, really home made starters are probably not really necessary when you look at the size of the main courses, and although it might seem pricey to a passing visitor the quality is always spot on.
