Vegetarian Restaurants in Islington

This is a review of my favorite Vegetarian eatery in Islington - Indian Veg. Indian Veg is located on Chapel Market, just off Liverpool Road N1 next door to the elbow rooms. I use the term 'eatery' as opposed to restaurant as this isn't the type of place you would bring someone you were trying to impress, but don't let that put you off as first impressions can be deceiving. It is a fairly small space with no delusions of grandeur. The walls are plastered with anti meat eating propaganda such as slogans stating that 'Meat is Murder' as well as various posters explaining the health benefits of Vegetarianism and Veganism. One of my favourite eating places at the Angel, Islington is an Indian vegetarian restaurant called Ravi Shankars. The restaurant itself is small, neat and tidy, clean but not fussy, in that the decor is very plain, beech laminate flooring and beech effect furniture. You walk in, you are shown to a table and then it is all down to you!
