Newest Review: ... on the trolley, almost always including strawberries even out of season. The wine list deserves a mention too. On our last visit, our selected white wine was not available. The owner suggested an alternative which we hadn't heard of and was not on the list. Lower Road, Surrey Quays/Rotherhithe might not be the most obvious place to look for a good reasonably-priced restaurant, but it's only a short bus/taxi ride from Tower Bridge and the City and two minutes walk from Surrey Quays station/5 minutes from Canada Water. This restaurant has become our favourite for birthdays, anniversaries and is not too expensive for an impromptu midweek meal out. Venezia is a small and unpretentious restaurant, but the service is excellent and friendly and the food is good quality and well-presented and the portions generous.
