Villa Bianca is an Italian restaurant (surprise!) situated in the heart of Hampstead village (Perrins Court, one of the pedestrian arcadey things connecting Heath Street and Hampstead High Street). The food is a cut above the usual Italian fare, and a bit more expensive too. Buffalo mozzarella with tomato, anchovy and olives was a delightful starter, with a whole round mozzarella dominating the plate. Also available, and sounding tempting, were a crab salad, and hot chargrilled vegetables. For main course I had a veal chop.
