I first found out about the Vrisaki from a review in one of Fay Maschler’s London restaurant guide, and have been there a few times. Myddelton Road is a dump, and I have heard that insurance companies are disinclined to insure house contents around there. It’s in a shopping parade in the middle of a residential street, and the first thing you see is a sign saying Kebab House. However once you go in and past the take away, you come into the restaurant. The crowded restaurant is styled in an ersatz rustic Cypriot style.
