Parents Beware!!! Wacky Warehouse visit ends at A&E
Author Name: SCW
Disadvantages: Poorly staffed, parents who allow their children to run wild and staff who watch them do it
I have just been to a birthday party at the Wacky Warehouse (Darlaston Inn, Stone) that ended in a trip to A&E with my little girl.
They allow 77 children into this Wacky up to the age of 12 (policy in all of them I am told), the staff watched as larger children rampaged around pushing, hitting and bullying younger children.
One of these older boys pushed my two year old little girl over dislocating her elbow, the parents of this boy outside not paying attention.
I told the members of staff what had happened and they assured me they would talked to the parents and ask them all to leave.
However I returned over an hour later to the Wacky to follow up my complaint the boys were still playing the staff had done nothing!! I had to inform the manager myself before even an injury form was produced and the boys finally asked to leave.
The care and attention of the staff was none existent and despite being within a few inches of my daughter I could not stop what happened. The questions I want answering why the staff did nothing? why they allow such large children to mix with toddlers? and why even when a complaint was made no one really cared?!!?
Please carefully check how your local Wacky Warehouse is run before letting your children play as this one in my experience was VERY poor!!!
