I've visited several different branches of Wagamamas, and found the food to be of a consistently high standard.

There's a variety of Japanese food on the menu, including noodles dishes, soups and curries. There is also a selection of sides to go with the food.

The food in Wagamamas is absolutely delicious, I love the chicken katsu curry, and it's not the kind of food that you can get in any restaurant, it's very specific to Wagamama.

There are some downsides to the Wagamamas experience however. One is the seating, which is at long wooden benches, in a traditional Japanese style. You are sat next to other diners which can be quite uncomfortable, and is annoying when there are empty benches, but you are seated with other people any way.

The staff I've come across are usually pleasant enough, but aren't usually particularly attentive and don't go above and beyond to be friendly and helpful. I'm not too bothered by this however, I just don't leave them a tip.

Despite it's downsides, I think the food in Wagamama is delicious, which is why I often go there, and I would definitely recommend people give it a try if they haven't already.

Summary: A nice restaurant for good quality food.
