Well, after getting a dinner out of my boyfriend he treated me to a wonderful night at the Wild Orchid. As soon as i walked through the Door, the bar people were right there to take your coat, and get you a drink and sit you down b4 showing you to your table. After they sit you down with your drink they bring over the menus and specials board, and give you 15mins to choose, great selection of starters/mains and wine/drink list. They then once you have placed your order, show you to your table. within 5mins our starter was in front of us, even on a busy saturday night. The Wild Orchid Restaurant in Vernon walk Southampton is a breath of fresh air. My boyfriend and I stumbbled upon this culinary haven squeezed between the Orange Romms and the Nat Raj. Our aim was to find a respectable"grown-ups" restaurant that was reasonably priced and not too snotty- we succeeded! The restaurant is nicely decorated with wooden dining furniture and parque flooring. It consists of a ground and first floor dininig area.
