Advantages: cheap, fresh, good quality food

Disadvantages: slightly overcrowded when busy

Zizzi's is a warm and welcoming place, as you go in the entrance there are some tables upstairs but mostly the restaurant is downstairs, I believe they only open the top section when it exceptionally busy. I always get a little worried when I go down the stairs towards the down stairs seating area of the restaurant, especially if it's been raining, they are tiled stairs and I'm always conscious that I might slip, it's never actually happened though.

The staff are very friendly, and all easily identifiable as dressed in black. I've never had any problems with the service in here, even at the busiest of times.

The menu has a variety of dishes from pizza to pasta to salads to Italian dishes such as spaghetti bolognaise. The prices are really good, you can get easily dine for £10 per person (£15 if you're being extravagant) The pizzas in here are huge, and although they are served for one there is easily enough to feed two people if you have a flat garlic bread on the side.

One of the things I love the most about Zizzi's is that the kitchen is based in the restaurant, so you can see the chef's at work. All the ingredients are fresh and that reflects in the quality and taste of their dishes.

I've often found that during busy times the restaurant can feel a little over crowded and therefore very noisy, but if you can secure a booth this isn't a problem at all.
