Advantages: delicious
Disadvantages: none
Zushi is a Sushi bar situated in the centre of Cardiff. It is only a few hundred yards from Queen Street station which is very handy and from the main shopping stretch so it is a perfect place to stop for a bite to eat on your way home or for lunch.
Inside, it is stylish and modern with a large conveybelt stretching across the room and round a seating area where the sushi moves around you on coloured dishes. There are stools along the conveyabelt like little bar stalls with little stations containing soy sauce, wasabi and pickled ginger. there is also a comfy seating area for people who are eating meals other than sushi.
The sushi and the other food is delicious. The chef makes the sushi in the middle of the room and then puts it onto the conveyabelt so you know it's fresh and can even request things.
Sushi dishes range from £1.50-£3.70 so you can end up spending quite a bit if you're not careful. You take the dishes from the conveyabelt as they come past you and when you order the bill, your dishes are counted. They come on different colour plates depending on their price.
Zushi have special lunch deals on Bento boxes which are very good value but best of all, if you go at 9pm, all sushi is reduced in price. Dishes that were £1.50 are reduced to a pound and all the others are £1.50 which is an absolute bargain.
