beckyX Hell Pizza (New Zealand): ... my many travels, I have had a few occasions where I have come across a restaurant that I enjoyed so much that I wanted to write about it to tell people to try it. The New Zealand pizza chain Hell Pizza is one such - it proved a real welcome break when I was travelling thanks to it having a vegan pizza option. The rest of you needn t worry - only one pizza out of about twenty is vegan, and a further three are liste...

TheWeaver The Cheesecake Factory
... went here for dinner one evening. I m pretty sure we don t have them here in England so just to let you know it s not just a sweet shop, it s a restaurant that sells every type of food you can imagine. Steak, pizza, pasta, fish, sandwiches, salads and more. For appetizers we had chocolate bread, which didn t exactly taste like chocolate but it was certainly interesting, if not the greatest preparation for a main course. To be honesy we ploughed through the starters and mains so we could savour the cheese and the cake. The cheesecake menu itself is almost as big as the other menus. And that s a menu comprised of nothing but different cheesecakes. There s every flavour u...

dangaroo El Popo Mexican Restaurant (Warsaw)
... Popo is one of Warsaw s several Mexican restaurants, I m slowly working my way around all of them and haven t been too impressed yet. Recommendations by city pamphlet "In Your Pocket Guide: Warsaw" are not to be followed - the few times I ve relied on their restaurant information, I ve been rather disappointed. El Popo is instantly recognisable from the outside due to its bright nature and its a restaurant that is in a fine location, just off Plac Teatralny (Theatre Square) and behind Ogrod Saski (Saski Gardens), not in the residential areas like one of its competitors Blue Cactus. The first thing I noticed when entering the restaurant was the toilets (alw...

yackers1 Ceyhan (Dalyan)
... The Ceyhan Restuarant is located right on the river right at the end of the riverside walk, which in my opinion is in prime position. The location is perfect and the kitchen and bar is on one side of the alfresco dining area and the rock faces, containing the Lycian tombs, on the other side with the river in between. During the day you can sit at a table with a drink (we did not have breakfast or lunch at Ceyhan) and watch the fish (the owner will throw some bread in and it is one big fight to see which fish can get the most, which is entertaining but therapeutic at the same time), look for sea turtles (these are a common site as the owners feed the turtles in ...
