Restaurants in Madrid in general: ... have been travelling again now, after Grams died leaving me a small legacy. It isn t enough money to make a huge impact on my life as far as buying a nice ride or house (with these Boston real Estate prices) but it does allow me to treat myself to great holidays and take along a couple of these sarcophant leeches I call friends if they agree to always wear tuxedos when the are with me and act like my bodyguards. ...

funzo The Supper Club (Amsterdam)
... 33, I m at that age where it seems that everyone around me is either married or getting married. Last weekend brought about the last of the Stag do s for the year...unless Angelina and Brad split up, she decides to marry me and i have a stag do at last.... failing that... the last of my friends stag do s was held in salubrious Amsterdam - the home of Van Gogh, the home of Rembrandt (for 3 years) and less well known it is the home of the Supper Club. The supperclub was booked by the stag months in advance. He had been to Amsterdam before and heard about this place and I must confess having been to Amsterdam on numerous occasions i had not heard of it, although maybe...

tconnor River Cafe
... is the best restaurant I have ever been to. What a bold and daring way to start a review! I was in New York last December for 5 days & before I went I asked our Marketing director, who used to live in NY, what his favourite restaurant was over there. NY has an amazing reputation for food so to pick just one was perhaps unfair, however he recommended the River Cafe. Its actually in Brooklyn rather than Manhattan however whats a river when you ve already traveled over 3000 miles! We chose to take a taxi from downtown Manhattan to Brooklyn which took around 25 minutes with the rush hour traffic (our reservation was for 5pm - the only one we could get). There are...

larsbaby Miko Sushi (Vancouver, Canada)
... Mooching around downtown Vancouver on our holiday, Ms Larsbaby and myself kept on passing a sushi restaurant which we couldn t quite make up our minds about. By this, I mean my instincts told me not to go in as there was something about it I couldn t quite warm to, but Ms Larsbaby was more optimistic and thought the sushi looked promising. At this end of Robson Street in downtown Vancouver, there are many options and surrounding the restaurant was a couple of Japanese restaurants, a noodle bar, and a Korean restaurant, all of which I liked the look of but hadn t tried. On the third time of asking, I demurred to the other half and we entered Miko. THE RESTAU...
