Fish Market:
... are two (as far as i know, even though there maybe more) Fish Markets in Egypt, one in Cairo and one in Alexandria, and both are excellent. Firstly the one in Alexandria, it is an upset restaurant overlooking the sea and Kite Bay castle, such as beautiful surrounding and especially at sunset. Firsly the starters arrive which consists of freshly baked hot flat bread, and large variety of dip and salad. The exten... Read the full review: Super 'fish' market by Lulu101 |

The Ritz Restaurant (Luxor, Egypt) ... found this little gem of a restaurant one evening whilst wandering about trying to find some dinner close to our St Joseph Hotel in Luxor. The restaurant is about 100 metres past the Hotel Sonesta on the Nile side of the street. It is at the end of a short and unprepossesing alleyway but don t let that put you off and don t let the fact that you have to negotiate quite a few randomly parked bicycles put you off either. (It s next to a bicycle repair shop!) The outside of the restaurant looks idiosyncratic to say the least. It is brightly painted in shades of orange and green, flower displays abound and there is a distinct air of geometry run mad in the design of the... Restaurants in Cape Town ... as it rushes towards the shore. I was told that this part of the restaurant is less noisy. The Pavillion which seats 40 people is a raised glass encased gazebo above the terrace. We sat in The Pavillion on our first visit. The gazebo provides a breathtaking view of the waves crashing into the walls of the building. We drank South African beer (can t remember the name), had a spicy Malay seafood soup and some chips. I didn t like the soup but the beer and the chips were great. The Cabin is a small and cosy restaurant that seats 30 people. We had to seat in The Cabin the second time we were there as the other part of the restaurants were filled. The waves were ex... Restaurants in Cape Town ... GBP8.00 and this was provided with a glass of port, olives , water crackers and a chilli sauce. Again we were not let down by the service or the quality of the food and I really enjoyed it again, the meal was more romantic in the evening as the lighting was dimmed and again a relaxing atmosphere perfect for couples. Beltazar s use only A grade grainfed karian beef from South Africa and they hang the carcasses for a minimum of 28days and can be seen on display in the restaurant. For more information and to view the menu the site is www.beltazars.co.za alternatively email info@slickrestaurants.co.za and for those of you planning a visit I am jealous and ENJOY!!!!!!!!!!...
