Advantages: Huge portions great value and very friendly staff and the owners work there full time so they care

Disadvantages: Only 50 seats so make sure you book a booth

If you like the 50's you will live this place.

This place is amazing!!!It is straight out of the 1950's
It is an original american diner from massachusetts
It has a wonderful history
The minute you walk through the door it hits you the music from the original jukebox the decor the clothes they wear
the seating everything.
Then their is the food and drinks
root beer,sasparilla,cream soda and ginger beer all have been brewed by a micro brewery in burton on trent (septimus spyder)real milkshakes made with good quality icecream and milk(no additives)just as it should be!!!
the burgers are incredible made out of steak and nothing else
The plates are one foot wide!!and are full to the edge
The menu covers everthing from vegetarians to the biggest burgers ie the scooby snack wowwwww!!!
I cant praise them enough for their work here
sorry for going on but this beats anything i have seen before
I have been to the usa and even they dont match this place
and other plastic diners over hear loose every time
the decor is right out of the 50's classic blue and white stainless steel & nice terrazzo floor.
