Advantages: Good food, cheap beer

Disadvantages: Odd rules, not always the best service

Corazzi is a local Italian restaurant that also attempts to draw local custom from the nearby offices with the offering of cheap beer. Primarily it's a restaurant and as a drinker, you do get a feeling as a second-class citizen.

I've not really eaten any of the main dishes there, only endulging in the delicious ginger bread and the dubiously named "onion rings", I like my onion rings to look like the Burger King type and these minimally battered rings of onion don't pass my test. Other friends of mine have ate soups and main dishes here and have always commented that the quality of the food is good, the portions are a bit small and the prices are quite high though.

During the warmer months, there's two outside seating areas both of which are good places to enjoy the cheap beer, initially advertising beer as 5zl, ( £1.1) they sneak on a cheeky 10% service charge which knocks it up to an extortionate 5.50zl. For the most part, this place is pretty empty with the exception of when visiting tour groups from Italy pass through, in these cases you can wait quite a while to be served.

Currently they have an odd door principle where you are obliged to take off your coat and pay 1zl for it, supposedly this is for hygiene reasons but as it's not yet particularly warm inside, it can be a bit uncomfortable and definitely doesn't make sense if you are just popping in for a quick drink.

Despite these down sides, it's still one of the cheaper places in the centre and has a lot of potential.

Summary: Still worth a visit
