Advantages: They are everywhere!

On our recent trip to Orlando we visited many swanky restaurants but I can honestly say that Denny's was my favourite. Although not quite as swanky, it certainly offers high quality food and service and is easily up there with the more upper class restaurants.

Founded in the 50's Dennys has become increasingly popular. Now with over 1,500 restaurants the denny's franchise is becoming huge. You can find Denny's mostly in Florida but they are all over America and can also be found in Mexico and Canada.

In all the Denny's we visited - and we visited a few we found the staff to be second to none. They work really really hard and take real pride in their jobs. We noticed that when you order and your food comes you don't need to tell them who ordered what as they remember and I feel this is a good indication of how well they treat each individual customer.

Their menu is varied although they are most well known for their 24/7 breakfast which includes their most popular meat lovers scramble and their grand slam. Denny's started out as a doughnut shop and although they don't serve doughnuts any more their pancakes are a real treat, very fluffy and yummy! You can still get a burger and chips here though if this is what you want. Also their refillable coffees and teas go down well especially as you rarely have to ask for a top up, they generally just top it up every 5-10 minutes.

The Denny's restaurants and staff are very accommodating and they have a children's menu and a over 55's menu which offers discounts and specials. They also have some fantastic offers throughout the week and weekend. Offering kids eat free on certain days and evenings.

I think its safe to say that the food is well worth the money you pay. Each menu item is on average $7 which at the moment is about £5 and for this the portion sizes are huge and the food is incredibly well presented and extremely yummy. You can taste that the ingredients are of the highest quality.

I would be more than happy to recommend the Denny's restaurants to anyone who plans on going to America and as they are so well known out there you can almost find one as easily as you can a Mc Donalds or this was certainly the case in Florida.

I would definitely go and get some pancakes if you are passing .
