Eggspectation is a chain of 'brunch' restaurants in Quebec and Ontario in Canada. The title of the restaurant gives a huge clue as to the main theme of these restaurants: eggs! Most of the items on the menu contain eggs and have comical and innovative names such as 'Yoke around the Clock', Eggstreme, Egg-chilada and Uneggspected. The food is of a very high standard and the service is usually very good despite how busy these places usually are. I have been to this one in Toronto and several in Montreal and they are all great. You would be forgiven for overlooking Eggspectation, although it is rather large and located on Yonge Street near the Eaton Centre, pretty much in the heart of downtown Toronto. With its tinted windows, a passer-by would easily think that the establishment was closed - and all the more so given its confusing display of opening times using merely the first letters of the days of the week and numbers. Someone should tell them that there are two days in the week that start with the letter "T" and two days in the week that start with the letter "S".
