Advantages: The perfect Eggs Benedict

Disadvantages: Sometimes have to wait for a table on the weekends, but worth the wait!!

Eggspectation is a chain of 'brunch' restaurants in Quebec and Ontario in Canada. The title of the restaurant gives a huge clue as to the main theme of these restaurants: eggs! Most of the items on the menu contain eggs and have comical and innovative names such as 'Yoke around the Clock', Eggstreme, Egg-chilada and Uneggspected. The food is of a very high standard and the service is usually very good despite how busy these places usually are. I have been to this one in Toronto and several in Montreal and they are all great. The best speciality in my opinion is the Eggs Benedict (classic) which is honestly the best I have ever had. They just get the recipe of the sauce so perfect! The dish consists of black forest ham on an English muffin, topped with a poached egg and hollandaise sauce. It is served with sauted potatoes and fresh fruit. They do also serve pasta and burgers but the breakfasts/brunches are the speciality and what most people go for on a weekend. The restaurant is only open until about 3pm everyday serving diners wanting breakfast and brunch.
