John's Pizzeria on Bleecker Street was highly recommended to me by a former New Yorker before I visited the city, so I felt compelled to pay it a visit when I was there. It's a traditional style pizzeria, with murals depicting Italy painted on the walls, and wooden booths around the outside of the two rooms. The seats and tables in the booths are scarred with years of graffiti by locals and tourists alike, marking their visit for future patrons to admire.
