Advantages: Good food, not exorbitantly priced

Disadvantages: Poor service, particularly for low-budget customers

Le Petit Prince is in the Latin (5ème) quarter, on the rue Lanneau (near the Place du Panthéon). It offers good value, with a perfectly satisfactory menu à 76F and a rather more varied menu à 118F. The house red was disappointing, which was understandable given that this is the sort of place that would rather you splashed out on something more costly. We went on a busy night and the service was very poor – you may find yourself marginalised if you do not spend what the waiters consider to be enough on your meal. On the other hand the food is good and the atmosphere is charming. Reservation is recommended – the number is 01-43-54-77-26.
