Advantages: Live music, excellent food, good atmosphere

Disadvantages: I can't think of any! (apart from the fact it can get busy)

This is a great restaurant for live music and good food. As it is situated at Fishermans Wharf (300 Jefferson) it is within easy reach from most parts of San Francisco. The food here is excellent, and reasonably priced. I would recommend the clam chowder here, it was the best!

Every night Lou's Pier 47 has live bands performing. It is even great to listen to the blues from the sidewalk (well, it can get very busy!) and with this fantastic restaurant and blues club in a prime location it's no wonder it can get so busy.

If you are down Fisherman's Wharf way, stop by this great restaurant, even if it's only for a coffee. The atmosphere will make you feel good... :-)
