... atmosphere! I visited this restaurant with a small group of friends during a holiday to Dubai. We booked in advance (over the phone) - good job we did as it was very busy when we got there. I would advise booking 3 weeks before if you want to visit on a weekend. Verre by Gordon Ramsay ... and my partner visited Ramsays Verre restaurant in Dubai for a celebration meal and treat 4 weeks ago! We were impressed with the service and only booked the night before, but the restaurant was almost empty which we thought was unusual and unexpected. The staff were brilliant and very attentive and advised us on special wines to have with every course which was top notch and every course that was delivered was explained in full detail which got a bit irritating as we new already what we had ordered and had to stop conversation but it is standard procedure for this caliber of restaurant. Verre by Gordon Ramsay ... have just returned from a wonderful holiday in Dubai and visited Verre when we were there, and it was absolutely wonderful. Did not find the service overpowering as some clients have. The service, food and quality of food was first class. Everything is explained as it is served to you which is nice. Verre by Gordon Ramsay ... we visited Dubai, we were determined to try Verre by Gordon Ramsay, being well aware of the Chef?s reputation for fine dining, and never having managed to visit his London restaurants. Verre is situated in the Dubai Creek Hilton, a newly opened modern hotel on the Deira side of the creek. In fact the hotel is so understated that we walked straight past it in the morning before our visit, looking out for it, and didn?t even spot it! We arrived at the hotel later that evening, taking in the quiet and stylish lobby with definite minimalist influences, up to the restaurant on the first floor.
