... recently (October 2009) had a meal in The Ship and Trades at Chatham Maritime. I have I am sure, during the course of my long life, had worse meals but I really cannot remember when. The service was abysmal and we had to wait for well over half an hour for the first of the food to arrive, which it did in dribs and drabs and at varying temperatures - some cold, some very cold. With two small, hungry children in tow, this was a little traumatic to say the least. The drinks we ordered included two diet Cokes which at nearly £2 apiece were flat, unpalatable and contained more ice than Coke. ... we went to Vegas we stayed in part of the MGM, so one morning we decided to give the breakfast buffet a try. It had always looked quite appealing and welcoming from the outside. We went in November, which isn t a peak traveling time to vegas so the line was pretty short. We joined the queue at about 9am. There were 3 tills open and each queue had about 15 people in it. We only had to wait for about 10 minutes though before we were served. The breakfast buffet cost us around $18ish which is more expensive than some of the othere hotels on the strip. ... first experience of Tony Roma s was about 10 years ago on a lads holiday in Benidorm. Unfortunately as is always the way, we didn t stumble on this place until about 3 days before we were due to go home. We had such a great time, we planned to make this part of our final night.
