Ellen's Stardust Diner (New York) ... recommend this place to everyone I know who is visiting New York! This place is amazing and you really have to be a miserable person indeed not to enjoy a meal at Ellen s Stardust Diner, New York City. This place is designed like a traditional American diner with booth tables and memorabilia all over the walls. The food is amazing with the best burgers ever and a fantastic ice cream milkshake menu!! The key thing about this place is that all the staff sing! They are all ex Broadway stars and basically work here inbetween musical/show jobs. So don t be surprised to have your waiter singing a Grease duet on the table while you are waiting for your order! Empire Diner ... feel honoured that I am the first person to write a review on this place and I hope that anybody about to visit new york will be persuaded to eat out at this fabulous retro american diner. there are no pictures on dooyoo of this unique restaurant so have a look on http://www.theempirediner.com/ for a cool picture of the exterior. it really is a gem of a place and, due to its location, its not the kind of restaurant you happen to stumble across while on vacation. it was even used as a location for a scene for men in black II staring will smith! anyway, back to the food. this place delivers gourmet quality grub at burger bar prices. the quality of the food against the pri... Restaurants in Houston ... is such a huge place and there are so many restaurants in the city (more per head of population than any other US city) which may explain the weight problem they have, that I ll just recommend a few of our favourites. Houstons - numerous locations, particularly Kirby at SW Freeway. Great restaurant, little bit more pricey than some in TX but worth it. Ribs are to die for. Americas - lovely restuarant, with modern American food, in a nice location near the Galleria. Pappadeaux - awesome seafood restaurant, with enormous portions. You have been warned!
