Advantages: Great food, not too expensive, fun for all the family
Disadvantages: Busy, can be hard to get a table if not booked in advance
Aloha, cousins!
That's the greeting you can expect at 'Ohana. Located at Disney's Polynesian Resort in Walt Disney World, Orlando, this Hawaiian themed restaurant is great for families. And of course 'Ohana means family!
Have breakfast here and you'll be joined by Mickey Mouse, Chip 'n' Dale, Lilo and Stitch. Served family-style, each item is brought to your table and is all-you-can-eat.
You'll be served scrambled eggs, fried potatoes, pork breakfast sausage links, smoked bacon, breakfast breads, fresh fruit and drinks.
All for just $18.99 (around £10) - adult price, not including sales tax & gratuity.
Dinner here is not just a meal but an experience! Again, the meal is served family-style, with each course being brought to your table by your server. If you want more of anything, just ask.
You'll start with "'Ohana Welcome Bread," closely followed by a mixed green salad with delicious honey-lime dressing.
Before you've finished eating that you'll find plates of pork dumplings and honey-coriander chicken wings have been placed on your table. It's not like some restaurants where they take away one plate before bringing another, here they'll just keep piling plates onto the table, so no need to worry about them whipping your plate away before you've finished!
If you see servers walking round the restaurant carrying foot-long skewers, don't panic, they're merely bringing the meat course! Marinated steak, turkey, pork loin and shrimp are cooked over an open fire pit located right in the middle of the restaurant, and brought to your table on the skewers.
All this is accompanied by scalloped potatoes, stir-fried vegetables and a selection of dipping sauces.
If you've still got room left after all that, try the 'Ohana bread pudding which is served with ice cream and bananas foster sauce.
All this will set you back $26.99 (around £14) per adult, not including sales tax and gratuity.
Any kids in your party will love the coconut races and hula dancing lessons that go on throughout the evening. Kids who take part each receive a flower lei. If you time it right, you may even be able to watch the Magic Kingdom fireworks show, Wishes from the huge windows that surround the restaurant.
This is a really fun and different place to eat that won't cost the earth.
