Pe pe Pizza is an unassuming pizza place in the "Nowe Miasto" (New Town) part of Warsaw - a restaurant rather than chain of pizza deliveries, this place has a good location just outside the Old Town walls. As one of the few places in the area without seats, it seems to miss out on a lot of the tourist custom which might be bad for them but could be a blessing for you unless you enjoy eating whilst listening to a loudmouth from Ohio trying to work out the name of the currency before coming out with something like "Why can't they all use dollars?" In fact, when ever I've been here (usually on a rainy day actually), it's always been rather quiet and the food has been served quickly, the decor is minimalistic with stone walls, iron chairs and small photos on the wall. The staff are always nice, a randy Australian that I knew had more than his fair share of pizza here as he was keen on one of the waitresses! Perhaps the most important thing of all is that the food is good, thin-based pizzas that still retain a softness to the base are hard to find, usually the chefs seem to overdo them so when cutting it - half your pizza flies off on to someone elses table, that isn't the case here. There's a generous supply of tomato and garlic sauce to top the pizza with if you wish and other dishes on the menu which although I've never tried, have heard from others that they are good. If you are in the vicinity, it's well worth popping in and certainly much cheaper than some of the more tourist trap restaurants nearby.
