Newest Review: ... just recommend a few of our favourites. Houstons - numerous locations, particularly Kirby at SW Freeway. Great restaurant, little bit more pricey than some in TX but worth it. Ribs are to die for. Americas - lovely restuarant, with modern American food, in a nice location near the Galleria. Pappadeaux - awesome seafood restaurant, with enormous portions. You have been warned! A few of these dotted around the city. Texas Land and Cattle - fantastic steak house. You can't go wrong with a bit of beef in TX. Not alot for veggies though. Also try and check out some of the local neighbourhood restaurants close to where you are staying. ... more

Houston is such a huge place and there are so many restaurants in the city (more per head of population than any other US city) which may explain the weight problem they have, that I'll just recommend a few of our favourites.
