Restaurants in Manila

Manila has some excellent restaurants, new people to the city should head to Greenbelt for the mid to high range places where there is an excellent variety in beautiful surroundings. For cheap eats try Bacolod chicken, lechon (spit roasted) chicken or pork. Avoid the places with trays of food in the window, these are called turo turos (point point) and although cheap are too often not nice. Greenbelt has a great range of places. The best value meal is at the Renaissance Hotel's M2M restaurant, it usually costs 1500 Pesos per head for a buffet dinner but look out for special nights when it costs only 1000.
