I have been to Milan many times, below is a list of places I remember with a feedback and general comments.

It is a Sicilian restaurants, not recommended, there is a photo of Sarah Ferguson eating there, and some time live music which can be noisy, the service is awful, once I had to ask 3 times for a bottle of water! Avoid it.

5 minutes away from the Dome, service can take some time, but they have some very tasty Milanese dishes, try one of their risottos, at least in winter, I am not sure if they offer it in summer as well. Expect to pay around 50 Euros per head. This place has been in business since 1919. It is a tradition to go there for Sunday lunch

This is a traditional Russian restaurants. The wine list is not very impressive, but you can try all the most famous Russian dishes, and, no price for guessing, they have a good selection of vodkas too. Dress to impress. Food is great, but it is also a place to be seen. Be careful with the caviar, otherwise expect to pay anything between 40 and 80 euros per hear, there are huge discrepancies in the menu prices
