I have to say I was pretty impressed with the restuarants in prague. There is a huge selection which is great and a large choice of traditional Czech restuarants.

Restuarants are generally very cosy and friendly looking places. Staff are friendly and there are always groups of locals and tourists alike having a good time. It is just such a lovely laid back atmosphere and you feel welcome in most places. The restuarants are generally not chains like they often are in this country and more often than not, the owner is waiting on tables or working behind the bar which realy adds to the friendly welcoming, homely atmosphere.

Czech food is very nice although the Goulash in one restuarant left a lot to be desired. Overall, very tasty and always a wide choice to choose from, even for the fussy eater.

One bad thing about restuarants in Prague is that they really aren't that cheap. I thought that food would be much cheaper over there compared to the UK but although it is cheaper, it isn't that much cheaper. You pay around 6-10 pound for a meal and I think that that is a lot for the country as things are cheaper over there.

Overall, very nice food and atmosphere.
