The Olive Garden is a great and very popular Italian restaurant in the United States. I have eaten there many times, and everything I have had is of very good quality. While it might not be as good as home made Italian, it is as close as you're going to get!

Depending on what time you go and on what day, you will get a small wait. Friday and Saturday nights for a party of 2, expect a 20-25 minute wait. Get there are 4pm if you want to be sat in a decent time.

Your server is usually there within a minute after you are sat and takes your drink order. She comes back rather quickly with them and to take your order.

After ordering, Olive Garden offers "free salad and breadsticks" (which they are very popular for). While you wait for your food, you get a bowl of salad and a basket of garlic breadsticks. Both of these items are out of this world! The Italian dressing they use for the salad is very good, and the breadsticks are always flavorful and hot. When you finish 1 bowl and basket, you are offered another one, and another one, until you say no.

The food prices are average for an Italian restuarant, ranging from $10-25 a plate, depending on what you get. There is also a bar with beer on tap and an extensive wine list. The atmosphere is semi-formal but not too formal. They have dim lighting and always play Italian music. I usually wear a polo shirt and jeans when dining.

Overall, this is a very good restaurant and experience. If you can find one, and like Italian food, then I suggest checking this out.
