Great atmosphere! I visited this restaurant with a small group of friends during a holiday to Dubai. We booked in advance (over the phone) - good job we did as it was very busy when we got there. I would advise booking 3 weeks before if you want to visit on a weekend. Fantastic atmosphere, food was delicious and the staff couldn't have been more helpful - they were helpful without hovering constantly around the table too. How bland, no atmosphere, arctic aircon and cooking fine food by numbers with no passion or flair. Whole experience tasteless, and oh what a waste of money. Food cooled down within minutes and had no flavour, not even subtle flavour. What a shame and it could be so much better. Compared to a couple of his London outlets, this is way below par and distinctly average. Why has so little imagination gone into the decor? It felt like a warehouse. There weren't even flowers. The longer dinner ran, the more stark the atmosphere and cold we got. We shan't be going back.

Me and my partner visited Ramsays Verre restaurant in Dubai for a celebration meal and treat 4 weeks ago! We were impressed with the service and only booked the night before, but the restaurant was almost empty which we thought was unusual and unexpected. The staff were brilliant and very attentive and advised us on special wines to have with every course which was top notch and every course that was delivered was explained in full detail which got a bit irritating as we new already what we had ordered and had to stop conversation but it is standard procedure for this caliber of restaurant. Most exquisite meal we've experienced for a long time. The waiting staff seemed genuinely pleased to serve us, the sommelier in particular made us feel welcome and heightened our enjoyment of the Prestige (tasting) Menu with his expert knowledge of each accompanying wine. Our two girls, aged 10 and 13 were also made to feel very welcome and they were treated with respect and courtesy throughout. The food was delectable and we would highly recommend this restaurant to anyone wishing to capture the 'fine dining' experience at its best.

I recently visited Dubai and, whilst reading the in flight magazine, noticed Gordons' resatuarant in Dubai Creek. I have to say, the Hilton is a fabulous location, and it was'nt just the food but, the experience of dining which made this evening feel like an event.I cannot think of a single negative - it was fantastic!Please try Verre for yourself, its so cool and suprisingly inexpensive!!
