Advantages: The food was cooked to perfection, staff were very helpful and the ambience of the place was great
Disadvantages: prices can be a little steep - but it is worth every penny.
Great atmosphere!
I visited this restaurant with a small group of friends during a holiday to Dubai.
We booked in advance (over the phone) - good job we did as it was very busy when we got there. I would advise booking 3 weeks before if you want to visit on a weekend.
Fantastic atmosphere, food was delicious and the staff couldn't have been more helpful - they were helpful without hovering constantly around the table too.
The décor was calm and modern, well air conditioned and the attention to detail from the food to the smallest finishes inside the dinning area is flawless..
The food was beautifully cooked, and very fresh. All 6 of us could not pick fault with any of the dishes and our favourites of the night were - Brill, lobster and herd risotto (lobster cooked to perfection), the roast lamb - which was so tender, and finally the duck, which was packed full of flavour and very well presented.
The puddings are especially good here, the mint crème brulee was a personal favourite and my friend almost ordered another Grand Marnier mousse she enjoyed it that much!
The wine as you would expect is slightly expensive - but it certainly compliments the food, don't be afraid to ask the waiter if you are unsure what to pick, are waiter even recommended a few for us..
There is a separate vegetarian menu which another plus for this restaurant. If you visit Dubai - save a little bit of money and visit this beautiful modern restaurant.
Summary: this is an experience in Dubai you wont forget.

- 10/06/09 Thanks Gary, yeah he certainly sets a standard and his chefs stick to it. |

- 10/06/09 Well there were 6 of us, we each had two courses and between us two bottles of wine and about another 4 drinks.
From what I can remember came to the equivalent of around £310 - £330. So not too bad |

- 10/06/09 Interesting, I did not know he had one in Dubai. You didn't mention price though, very handy with a restaurant review, prices can add up so quickly with service etc. |
