“ Brand: Fisher Price / Role-Playing Games Type: Childrens Role Play „
I bought this for my daughter for her 2nd birthday in March. We already have the matching Princess sounds castle. The coach cost me £25 in Tesco.
The coach is aimed at children 18 months to 5 years. It requires 2 x AA batteries which are included. There is an on/off button inside the coach just behind Cinderella's seat.
The coach has a white horse at the front complete with a golden harness and a plume. The carriage part of the coach is circular shaped and you can open it completely as it has a hinge. The top part of the lid is a pale blue see through colour which is glittery and the bottom is a pale solid blue colour. The coach has 4 wheels the back two are bigger than the front two. The wheels are purple and have a pretty design etched on them. At the rear of the coach is a trunk which opens to reveal the mice from the Cinderella film.
With the coach you also get a Cinderella figure. The Cinderella figure is in the usual Little People style. Cinderella has the blue dress she wore to the ball in the film on it is a pale blue transparent colour. Her shoes are see through to recreate the look of the glass slippers from the film. Cinderella also has a necklace on which again is see through.
The coach is activated by the action of your child pushing it along the floor. This also causes the horse at the front to 'gallop' and the trunk at the back of the coach to open and close showing the mice.
Inside the coach is a slot to stand Cinderella on. This is a gold see through colour and lights up the effect of this is that when the coach is pushed and lights up Cinderella's dress glitters and lights up and her necklace and shoes shimmer.
When the coach is pushed Cinderella says a few phrases such as 'now I can finally go to the ball' and 'thank you fairy godmother' the coach also plays bibeti bopety boo when pushed.
This is such a lovely toy if a bit on the pricey side. It is good quality and has survived several long journeys around the house and some rough handling.
My daughter loves her Disney Princesses and we spend hours playing with this, my daughter likes to push it to the door of the castle and drop Cinderella off for the ball. Other princesses we have in the range also fit into the coach.
We really like playing with this coach it is perfect to go with the castle and it has some nice sound effects. The only negative I can see is the price it should be around the £15 mark.
