Sla Industries Role Playing Games ... Progress, the planet at the forefront of a galaxy-spanning corporate empire. The eponymous corporation, headed by nine foot tall immortal Mr. Slayer (whose pictures bear a remarkable resemblance to Margaret Thatcher), and PCs play SLA operatives (or 'slops' as they are known to the civilian population) - a type of military police or FBI, called in to deal with mutant monsters, mishaps of bioengineering, and tricky diplomatic situations in a city where it always rains. They may face danger from rebel corporation Dark Night, or the alien-controlled, hideously equipped Thresher, but in SLA Industries, the first thing you learn is that there are no good guys. Life is an endless parade of violence and corporate backstabbing, and there's always something nasty in the sewers.
