==Asics Gym Sac== With Jack starting reception class in the September of last year. I don't think we realised exactly how much new gear he would need in order to have everything listed in the school booklet. It cost us a small fortune even though we did try to get the things he needed from the place which had the best prices. This Asics gym bag was something that was ideal for his PE kit at school as it was lightweight and we got it for a much cheaper price than any other gym bag we saw. We bought it is Sports Direct for a mere £1.99p which is really good for a make like Asics and like I said cheaper than any other one we had seen. The bag is not a child size one so it is a little big for Jack to hold but the majority of the time it will just stay on his peg at school with his PE kit on it and only coming home in the holidays. The bag is made of a waterproof polyurethane material and is an all black colour all but the logo of the Asics make. The draw string cords are soft yet strong and I can't see any damage being done to them from Jack. The only trouble was finding somewhere to write his name on the bag because it was all black so I have had to write it in black permeant marker on the Asics logo which wasn't that easy as the logo is not overly big. This doesn't stand out too much but I guess it would be enough if the bag ever did get lost. All in all I have to say that for the bargain price we paid for this little gym sac it is well worth the money and will hopefully goo strong for the rest of his school life at primary school. The bag is strong and durable and doesn't look cheap although the price was very cheap in my opinion. I think nothing but a top score of 5 out of 5 stars and a high recommendation will do for this Asics gym bag. I do hope that this has been of some help/interest to you Many thanks for taking the time to read.
I needed a lightweight bag for use when I go swimming and walking, just to hold a towel and swimming costume and a bit of loose change, and a bottle of drink and picnic rug when I go for a walk.I have a toddler so I needed something very lightweight to stick under the pushchair (I don't really like rucksacks and they'd be too bulky for my needs). I found this Asics one in Sports Soccer (Sports Direct online) for the bargain price of a fiver down from the RRP of £8.99. It's black, with a large white Asics logo to the front and with black rope handles going from the drawstring close top down to the bottom of the bag. I must say the main reason for my choice was the price but the Asics brand isn't a bad one, I'm not that sporty myself, I run and play golf, neither of which you need a sports bag really for, but I have had loads of use out of this Asics gym bag. It's the ideal size for a large towel and a few bits and bobs when I go swimming, it's not a waterproof bag but the nylon material it's made out of is durable and there's no leaking through of wet clothes when I put my used wet swimming costume in it, rolled up in my towel. Also when I go walking with my daughter and my husband I can get a picnic blanket, drinks, bottle, nappies and wipes in it, which is great and a few times I've used it as a lightweight changing bag to save me from having to lug about the big changing bag. For a fiver I've had tons of use out of it and I've since bought one for my husband as he needed a swim bag, too. We've had them about 18 months and they're both as good as new, I've never even needed to throw them in the washer, though I can't see that it would do them any harm if I did. Overall I highly recommend the Asics Gym Bag because it's well made, would easily take a pair of trainers or football boots, and lasts, too. I think the best place to buy it from is Sports Soccer but even so, £8.99 is still a perfectly reasonable price for a decent gym / swimming / all purpose lightweight sports bag. I have since bought yet another two along with some hoodies and given them as gifts!
As you might have read in some of my previous reviews I have gone back to playing netball. After having my kids I wanted a way to get back into exercise that I really loved and that I knew I would stick with and having played netball for many years when I was younger and loved it I knew I would love playing again and I do. As it had been a long time since I played sport I needed to get a whole new workout kit, trainers, clothing and a bag to carry it all in. I purchased this Asics bag as it was just what I was looking for. Asics is a well know brand and is actually a Japanese athletic equipment company. According to an article I read, ASICS produces professional footwear and sports equipment designed for football, running, netball, tennis, badminton, squash, martial arts, cricket, golf, wrestling, track & field, cross-training,volleyball, cheerleading, lacrosse, and for many other sport disciplines. So, knowing that they are well known I thought it was a good purchase to make so I would look quite professional and well kitted out on the netball court. I am quite good even if I do say so myself and I'm not, "All the gear, no idea," even though I did want this bag to make me look good, ha ha. The bag is nice and simple which I like as I really only need it to carry my top, trousers and trainers. I am often running from somewhere on my way to netball having dropped the kids off with either the babysitter or coming from home leaving them with my dad so to have a dedicated bag just for my netball kit and knowing that this is all I use the bag for is good because I can find everything in one place. I wash my kit straight after I have worn it then when it is dry I place it back in this bag ready for next week. The bag is black and very lightweight as it is made of a thin nylon material. The bag is very simple and just has the word Asics written on it at the bottom with their logo next to it too. Even though I say the bag is lightweight it is also quite a tough material though and I never worry that I have over filled it or that it is going to tear or split because the material is quite hardwearing. I have had this for a couple of months now and although I only use it once a week it still looks as good as new. The beauty of the material of the bag is that if it does get dirty or anything on the netball court you can just wipe it clean with some baby wipes and usually the stain comes right out. There is really nothing to the bag as if you lay it flat it is a rectangle shape and has no other pockets or sections/zips to it but that is the nice thing about it, it just holds my kit and keys and nothing else. I don't wear it when I am playing netball obviously but this bag is perfect of runners as you can wear it as a backpack and run with it and its very lightweight and small when on your back. The bag has drawstrings which are in the top of the bag and then they are attached to the bottom of the bag. This allows you to wear the bag as a backpack or if you don't want to do that you can just use the drawstrings as the handles. The drawstrings close and then the weight of the items you have inside the bag will keep it closed until you pull them apart to open the bag. The bag was very cheap, I think it cost me less than £10 in the big Sports Direct shop on our out of town shopping area and is perfect for my netball playing days!
