Advantages: Long lasting, variety of colours
Disadvantages: None come to mind
I first saw an eastpak bag when I was on a German exchange. Every student there seemed to have one of these bags. I thought maybe it was a school uniform thing but even going around the towns, people seemed to love them. I decided to buy one while I was there. Mostly as mine was getting old rather than the looks of them. I went into one of there shops and fell in love with a blue swirled patterned eastpak bag. I have small birds and flowers scattered around on it. It was around £40 euros if my memory is correct.
I bought it 5 years ago and still have the bag stored in my wardrobe. This was from lack of use either. I use this bag for 2 years during secondary trips and every plane journey I go on. Surviving secondary school in one piece is a miracle all on its own. The material use is very thick and thankfully water proof.
I'm trying to think of one bad word to say about it but I can't. The bag is plenty big enough and larger ones are available. Though the price may sound high, its lasts long enough for it to be worth it. They come in many different colours, patterns, sizes for many different uses whether its social meetings, work or school. Eastpak, for me, is the best backpack I have ever owned.
