“ Brand: Hi Gear / Style: Kids Backpack / Max Litres: 10 „
I bought this rucksack for myself even though it is meant for kids!
I was looking for a small size pack to take on those shorter walks when just a little amount of water and a choc bar was needed.
Small adult bags were so expensive and I could not justify spending the same, if not more, for a 10l rucksack as for a 35l rucksack until I saw this little beauty!
The straps extend enough to be able to put on my back and they are still padded to afforded comfort. As it is only 10l you cant get much in so it will never be that heavy. If you need to take more then a few items then a 25l or 35l rucksack would be better.
There are no chest or waist straps so it does not offer any other support apart from the shoulders.
There is a large compartment in the main bit, a small compatrment on the front and then a really small pocket right on the front, along with two tiny side pockets. This means you can store wallet, keys water in separate compartments for easy finding.
It is not waterproff so make sure things are in plastic bags if you are braving the bad weather with this one.
I would not try and fit this bag on an adult male! My Boyfriend got stuck in this one as the straps really aren't long enough for broad shoulders! It was quite amusing though so I suppose it depends how mean you are feeling that day!
The backpack comes in different colours, I have a pink one. You really have to accept that this is a kids backpack and not care to be seen carrying it if you are going to use it yourself as it does have a cartoon "Bee" on the side pocket!
However if you are buying this for its intended purpose then it would be brilliant and would make a kid accommpanying you on a hike feel like they are part of the walk.
This product was bought for £4.99 four years ago so really good value. It still stands up to my short walks after all this time and so really worth the money!
2 zipped front pockets, one mesh side pocket, one zipped side pocket.
